Parks and Wild Life (Specially Protected Animals)

Regulations, 2020

IT is hereby notifi ed that the Minister of Environment, Climate,
Tourism and Hospitality Industry has, in terms of section 128 of
the Parks and Wild Life Act [Chapter 20:14], made the following
regulations:—

1. These regulations may be cited as the Parks and Wild Life
   (Specially Protected Animals) Regulations, 2020.
2. Animals listed in the Schedule shall, for purposes of section
   128 of the Act, be specially protected animals.
3. The Eighth Schedule (Problem Animals) of the Act is amended
   by the deletion of “Wild or Hunting Dog—Lycaon pictus”.
4. The Parks and Wild Life (Hunting and Removal of Wild Dogs
   Notice, 2004, published in Statutory Instrument 80 of 2004, is hereby
   repealed.

   (b) Square-lipped—Ceratotherium simum

9. Wild or Hunting Dog—Lycaon pictus
