INTRODUCTION

What follows is the collection of PowerPoint slides that illustrated Gus Le Breton’s talk to the ZPGA on the 11th November 2022, at Armadale Lodge in Harare. The talk was extremely well attended and followed by a great deal of interesting discussion. Perhaps one of the most interesting points made by Gus as far as Zimbabwean guides are concerned is that a large proportion of visitors to Zimbabwe are fascinated by traditional beliefs, customs, food and medicines and value a guide who can talk knowledgeably (and accurately, of course) about these things.
